my peace lily has had some dropping leaves and browning leaves all around her, i just repotted her about a week ago. the planta app is saying she is in a too dark of an area and overwatered but i kinda abused her this week and didn’t water her, when i first got her she was really sad. she didn’t began to perk back up until i drowned her in water acouple times, but the app is saying to do differently? i’m confused can anyone help? I don’t know what’s wrong with her.

I only water mine when it’s dry and they’re also in decent light by the wi dow. They’re super happy and flower regularly. Use a bamboo skewer to check for damp soil before watering and skip if needed. Also winter weather change might add to some brown edges. Sometimes the more we “ignore” them, the better they do. 😃

Mine usually droops before its dry, and I still water it. Mine is currently flowering and putting out lots of new growth. But if yours is pretty much constantly droopy maybe just wait until the soil is almost dry. It would also be a good idea to check the roots.

To be honest these can live really happily in water, growing water roots. I don't think water usually kills them though in transition if you shock it I would expect some yellow leaves. I agree I think it's just dry seasonally and we'll see more brown tips. These will definitely as the other said droop when they're really thirsty but then the second you give them water they'll perk right back up. When they're just not really doing well I tend to chop off stems that are not looking well. They usually rebound. I'm not an expert but that's my two cents and I've managed to keep them alive for a long while
