This is my Red vein plant, and it is trying to recover from an almost dying situation. I had to trim all her leaves because they were brunt and broken for no water and too much sunlight. She has been like this for the past 7 months, I am keeping her in shade, but small amounts of sunlight, and watering her when she is dry, but she is not growing! Can anybody help me?

She needs more light if you’re only giving her small amounts. I have my fittonia under grow lights for 12h a day and they’re both thriving. Also the pot is huge for the size of the plant, but I’m not sure repotting while it’s this stressed is a good idea. Just be careful not to overwater until it starts looking healthier, then repot into into a smaller pot.

Thanks. Like I said, she is recently recovering from an almost death experience, so this was her original pot. I’ll definitely try more light - thanks

Even plants that love light can be burnt if they aren’t acclimated over time. Either move it slowly closer to light or give her increasing time in light over a few weeks. It may lose the original leaves over time, but the new ones will be set up for success!
