Hey all, I’ve had my polka dot plant for a little over a month now and she has grown a lot since I got her. But recently I’ve noticed a little bit of yellowing ruining her aesthetics 😪 I repotted about 2 weeks ago hoping maybe it was because the roots were hanging out the bottom so needed a size up but wanted to give it time to settle in to new environment before I did so… would you recommend I prune them off or any trouble shooting recommendations? TIA ☺️

They require high humidity. Not enough will cause crispy leaf edges.

These resemble ‘Pink Nerve’ in a way. But they are totally different. But it seems they require the same attention.I will say this I got these pink nerve plants last week and repotted them immediately like I do with all my plants when they have circled roots. What I did was ℹ repotted them and watered them and sat them in direct sun ( That’s a no no) so I did some research because they were a bit saggy. I have a small mister bottle, and when I tell you I did some major misting this is how they look right now today. And it seems your polka is really doing good and it also looks like you can do some pruning and propagating and you should be in good shape. Give it a try and lmk when you get the chance would love an update.😊❤️🙏🏽 I do keep them in indirect sunlight outside though.. More like a side sun view type of direction..

Yes Nerve and Polka Dot plants require similar care and have similar characteristics.

Thank you so much! I do have a humidifier but I think I’ll manually start spraying them and see if they respond better. They are currently in indirect light, I have my polka dot next to my pink nerve and has been a bit up and down too maybe for the same reason with humidity 🤔 thank you so much for your advise and I’ll give it all a go and see how they get on ☺️🫶🏼
