So this is my first time treating one of my plants. She has aphids per the app diagnosis and the app said to wash her down with either soapy water or use neem oil? Has anyone had success with this? I’ve already quarantine her so hopefully none of the others get it too.
both neem oil and insecticidal soap have been HUGE helps, Paige Tailyn on tt 5-25 calls it her "sexy plant juice" and its a cocktail of neem oil, peppermint castile soap, isopropyl alcohol, and water to help hydrate leaves after pests, to eliminate remaining pests, and keep away future pests. plant looks BEAUTIFUL btw 🤍

I agree with Hails’ advice here. Just wanted to add to wait 12-24 hours before placing the plant back into the light source for it, cause spraying the leaves or flowers with isopropyl alcohol THEN exposing it to even bright indirect sunlight right after can quickly burn the foliage. Learned that the hard way with one of my jades when I was first starting out with houseplants, so just wanted to share an extra err of caution. 😊
