hey yall. I have a good amount of indoor plants and some of them are really struggling with fungal gnats I’ve tried the neem oil spray and it seems to not be working! I also use sticky traps which gets a lot of them but they’re still everywhere.. what’s the best solution to my problem🥴TIA🫶🏼

2개 좋아요Nursery: grows perennial plants on-site. Greenhouse: grows annual plants (and sometimes tropicals) on-site. Garden center: sells mostly tools and supplies. Many places have combinations of these, so the words are often used interchangeably
0개 좋아요I second mosquito bits. I also got a carnivorous plant (a sundew) because I felt like the problem was never ending and that helped a ton!

systemics work best. traps and neem are for adults and larvae on the surface. use granules and drops to kill larvae within the soil.

I experienced this when I moved and had all my plants together. However, since it was like an infestation of those lil gnats I repotted my plants with fresh soil, making sure I got most of that old soil out. Then after repotting I wiped down the leaves , put the traps and some neem oil but I also separated my plants so they weren’t really close for the time being. I only separated them to kinda control which plant is was that’s really have it the most cause I felt like them being all in one space so close they were just hopping and duplications x1000.

I use mosquito bits regularly. I rarely see them now.

0개 좋아요 It tells you on the bag. I think it says like 4 tbsp per gallon. You soak it for 30 minutes then use that to water your plants. It kills the larvae that’s in your soil to prevent further gnats from growing.
