My poor Juniper Bonsai is fading his colors and turning yellow! Does this mean he isn’t happy? Is he overwatered? Not enough light? Uncle Iroh can’t move on to plant heaven yet 😭

Lindseyawww he’s beautiful!! i’m not totally sure what it means but it could be a few things, is it getting too much light? overwatering could possibly be it too! i have a few conifers in pots and this year i learned that they’ll turn brown and lose stems if their roots are too compacted and touching the sides of the pot, especially if its unglazed like terra cotta im sorry i couldnt be of more help!! you got this though and good luck!!

Good to know! Thanks for the help! We followed the watering schedule that Planta suggested but we feel like it may be too much 😭

Bryan TI noticed Planta schedule for bonsai is either too much or too little water, it takes time to learn your plants watering needs. Google juniper watering needs and it will tell you if they need to be wet all the time or slightly dry out before watering again etc (I’m not familiar with them but hopefully it will strengthen up for you!)

This plant is a outdoor plant only I can’t tell from the picture if it’s indoors or outdoors
