My boyfriend got me this bonsai for my birthday, no clue what it is. I’ve never had one before so I just watered it lightly with a spray bottle once a week, woke up yesterday morning and it looked like this. Any ideas on what it is or how I can save it?
I have a couple and one of mine ate very picky so I would drench it like once a week and then fertilize it as well but other than that it don’t know what to do

I’m no pro but I’d say fill a tub deeper than the pot with Rain Water. Dip the plant in the water all the way to just below the soil level & wait for all the air bubbles to stop. Place it somewhere to drain. Mine need a bath at least 1-2 times a week. No idea what it is though sorry 😔
1 me gustaFrom my experience bonsais take a lot of water. They are pretty thirsty plants.
