Does anyone have suggestions on ways to raise the temperature in a greenhouse cabinet, or at least keep the temperature stable? Mine is next to a heater so that helps and doesn’t dip below 65°

Hi- any suggestions for gloves? I’m doing a complete overhaul on my garden and having to dig a lot of holes. I’ve gone through a few pairs of gloves but still seem to get blisters from shoveling and digging. Does anyone have a pair that they love or is this just my life right now? 🥴

Hi. I'd like to attach some grow lights under my shelves where I have plants. They only get indirect sun from a small window at the moment and it seems to be too little for them to grow properly. What lights would you suggest? They need to be full spectrum lights as they are in my work room 🙂 and tips are appreciated!

I have all my plants, for 9 months now, in Naked Root planters. I fill the outer pot and when the pot is empty , I wait 7-14 days before watering again. How do I include that in my plant info so I don’t get watering notices? All my plants are doing well in them. They only have an 8” pot, so I bought a 10 & 12” self watering pot today with cords to put in the bottom of the pot to suck up water. Does this really work? Any tips will be appreciated!

Question, when saving your plants in the app, and you have the same plant type numerous times, are you putting them all together, or are you putting each one of them as a separate plant? If put separately, are water propagations one extra plant, or you wait until you put it in the dirt?

So I just started using grow lights and I don't know which settings I need to have them on. All the plants require full sun. The lights cycle through red blue and white lights. I don't know what I'm doing can someone please help

Does anyone have a suggestion for grow lights that are small, cordless and rechargeable? I’m interested in the kind that you stick in the pot and shine up at the plant, or stick on the wall above the plant shining down. Thanks!

I’m going to share some plant stuff that is working great for me. First, I love my Bear cool air mister to raise the humidity in certain areas. I have one in each room at the plant areas, and can easily give “spa days”to my plants when they look like they need it. Amazon, $26 Second, lights. I’m getting the most bang for my buck with the highly rated and very bright LBW lights. They come in all configuration, from desktop to plant shelf strips to floor lamps. Amazon, expect anywhere from $24 to $50 for plant shelf strips. Mister- I found something interesting for someone who mists a lot of plants. It’s USB powered, pretty neat, no more tired hand. Photo in reply cause I’m at my limit. Bought at Mossify for $37 and shipping.

Some of my plants have grow lights on them cause I don't have the best window set up for them but when I try to add a grow light to my plant info it tells me I have to upgrade to the premium version. Why is that? I have plants that are doing great with the light but the app says they are placed to dark. For example the guy in this picture has new growth and seems to be really happy but I have a warning that it's placed to dark

This is my temporary setup to provide grow lights to some plants until March when it’s warm enough to put them back outside. My plants live outside most of the year. I’m in zone 9a on the Texas gulf coast. I have more plants than shelves. I bought some clip on shop light fixtures (~$15 each) from Lowes. I added grow light bulbs (~2600 lumens). I also bought green grow light racks. They come in 2 ft and 4 ft widths. A 2ft rack is shown. I found my plants are too tall. The rectangular grow lights are shaped like large iPads and hang too low. This setup works for the short term. It gives me options to keep my alive as repair and remodel starts later this year when I can’t keep my plants outside.

curious what everyone’s thoughts are on adding humidity to an area that isn’t enclosed? i’ve just moved into a new apartment and wanted to set up an area for my more humidity-loving plants, but i don’t have a grow cabinet or anything, just a shelving unit. i had a vague idea of adding a diffuser (with only water) where the red X is, and then kind of stacking my plants around and under it? would love any advice y’all can give me as i want to create a great environment for my babies! 💚🌱

Humidity help please. I’m in Arizona and started collecting cactus and succulents. Now I’ve added tropical. Hoyas, Calatheas, and some others. I adore them and thinking they are doing pretty well with grow lights at about 30%. I thought I could add humidity just by misting daily, but I keep reading that’s questionable whether it actually helps. Aside from adding a humidifier, which I don’t want to do, what are better options? I do find crispy edges on some leaves, so I’m worried the humidity is a problem.

I finally upgraded to the premium version of the Planta app so now it shows when I need to clean, fertilize, etc my plants. I really haven’t ever fertilized them short of basic miracle grow a couple years ago. This pic is what Planta recommends for fertilizer. Anyone have suggestions for brands that fit this criteria? I’m very unfamiliar with this. I do prefer organic when possible.
