Look at this adorable pot I got from Patty, a seller on Blossm. She even added a little cat for me! She usually does the smaller Oui yogurt cups, but did a few larger candle holders

@Lynda. DIY Pon mix from the ratios from NxcPlants mix they use. The recipe being: 4 Parts Perlite 2 Parts Pumice 2 Parts Lava rock 1 Part Fluval Stratum Perlite $7.98 - 8 quart bag (Lowes) Pumice $4.99 - 4 quart bag (Mclendons or Fred meyer) Fluval Stratum- $17.99 - 4.4 pound bag (Chewy.com) Lava Rock mix- $19.99 - 5 pound bag (amazon) I used both Coarse and #4 perlite in this mix (2 padts of each, to equal the 4 Parts). The #4 is around $35 for 30 quarts depending on brand. And can be a pain to find. So I just listed the Coarse info. MDPQT sells is on Amazon as "large size" and it's $16 for 5 Qts.

I have 3 of these pots hanging on our fence. We have tried multiple plants that last few years and nothing seems to live (or live longer than maybe a month). I think it is a watering issue - the water doesn't soak in fast enough before it all spills over the edge (no matter how slow I water). I have tried adding rocks to the top inch but they kept ending up on the ground (particularly blame the birds for that 😅).Any thoughts or suggestions on what could make a plant survive at the spring and summer?

Hello! I live in the northeast side of the states and have my humidifier running constantly due to the dry winter weather and my question is do you think this would affect how often I should spray my plants?

Hi everyone, I have been using these Wiz lights for my monstera for about two weeks to supplement for the low light in my apartment. I know they aren’t as powerful as real grow lights but I figured it would be fine since I have two light bulbs and the plant does get some indirect light. This plant was not using grow lights before. The plant has had a good amount of new growth but some of the new leaves have come out deformed or with brown crispy spots. Has anyone had any experience using the “plant growth” setting on these smart bulbs? And do you think the deformed new leaves have anything to do with the lighting? Or is it still adjusting to the new lighting? Opinions??

I'm going to be adding a grow light to my peace lily that is currently in a kinda dark corner. Should I ease into the amount of time/intensity of the light so I don't shock/stress the plant out? Any recommendations on how to pace the progression so the lily and get acclimated without too much stress?

I'm wondering what soil/medium people use for their tropical plants? I've recently discovered the miracle grow potting soil I was using is the cause of my massive fungas gnat infestation. I have a variety of plant types, from succulents and cacti, to tropicals and non tropicals. I need to repot everything and want to make sure it's going into the best medium possible!

Bought a lamp for seasonal affective disorder from fb marketplace, it's said to mimic the light of a thousand suns from the comfort of your own home😂 About to set it up as a growlight for my philodendrons, stay tuned!

Hello, I recently put all of my plant supplies into glass containers and really love the look of it. Does anyone know if this can actually harm any of the supplies though? They do get quite moist in some of the containers, like the coco coir and soil. As aesthetically pleasing as it is, I don't want to go ruining my supplies 😅 thank you in advance!
