I have a few questions for my new moss pole, I used sphagnum moss in mine. How wet do I need to keep it? Will it attract fungus gnats? I have a few and I seen a few were around it. Can the aerial roots that grow into it get root rot? Can the stalk of the plant rot if it’s touching it? Does this look ok?

Hey everyone ! This is my baby Monstera ( she decent size but the baby of my 2 lol) I got her on the 11th and she had this leaf peeping out . I notice a drastic stop in her growth and she been stuck on this stage. Any advice? During this time I did have to bring her inside due to the cold which she did get a little damage on different leaf . Besides that she is good and healthy (from my knowledge lol)
Greetings! As you can see in the two photos my monstera is growing well and I’ve attempted to keep her vertical using wooden stakes (and a coco poir). However it is leaning (see the side photo) because it’s heavy, so it pulls on the stakes. Any recommendations for a solution? A trellis? Which do you recommend? Many thanks in advance for your input.
Hi everyone! Hope all is well Was wondering if this yellowing would go away eventually? It recently appeared likely due to wanting to be watered sooner my guess. On the bright side this same baby is having 2 new leaves starting to unfold, soo excited! 👏

New monstera owner and I’m not sure what these marks are. Obviously bug bites on two of the picture but I’m unsure of what caused it so I can treat. The uniform marks on the fenestrated are what’s throwing me off, they’re on a couple of leaves and I’m not sure what the cause is… it’s a healthy plant that is putting out new leaves, I just separated it and it’s doing good other than the marks and bug bites it had when I bought it. Any help would be appreciated!
Recently repotted, leaves are getting crispy then yellow. Its lost 3 leaves and the entire plant is getting brown spots
Hello beautiful people, this is my first plant. Its looking good but the leaves are starting to curl in some of the bigger leaves. Should I be worried? Temperature here in the living room is a steady 18-27 degrees C* or 64-80 degrees F*. And there’s a little one emerging too!! So cute 🌱 Thanks for your help in advance. Maybe someday I’ll be the one giving a bit of advice ✨
Hi everyone I need some help from more experienced monstera owners! I got this one back in September 2023 when it was only 1 ft tall and now it’s around 4.5 ft. It was pretty full (4th photo) until I moved to a place with a colder climate about 1 year ago. The bottom leaves (which were mature and had fenestrations) became fully yellow so I had to chop them off :( Now it’s very top-heavy and I’m not sure if I should cut some of the top leaves and repot them near the base or wait and see. The newest leaves are a nice dark green color (3rd photo) so I’m scared to touch them! For context, it sits in front of a north facing window and gets some direct sunlight from a west facing window about 12 feet away. I had an overwatering problem (which can explain the yellowing/browning tips) but I’ve been working on fixing that for the last few months. Now I’m just hoping to get things bushier and back to how it used to look like, if that’s even possible.
Hi friends! I'm a newish plant parent (about 2 year's owning plants) this is my absolute favorite plant 🫶🏻 I've had her for over a year but as you can see, she refuses to fenestrate😒 She is on a moss pole, she gets plant food every watering, and she is pest free, yet no fenestrations ): She grows like a weed too! She puts new leaves out very often. I recently bought her this grow light, could that be the trick?

Ok I'm gonna sound crazy here, but do you guys think I can grow a new plant from just this? For context this used to be a beautiful mini monstera that I cut into pieces for propitiation. I never successfully got them rooted so I cut them up into small single leaf segments and experimented with one soil group and one water group. I ended up fighting a war with thrips and got distracted, leaving me with just these stems 4 months later. But they're still green... So there's hope? Right??
i just wanted to show off my beauty queen after cleaning her leaves the other day :) anyone have suggestions on what i should do about the lower few leaves? i would like to make ms. mona more uniform but i’m afraid of hurting her if i tried pulling those stems up to the bamboo stick. thank you in advance!
Got this beautifully matured Thai con(first pic) (also my first Thai con) but recently it started browning on the white bits but on the other hand it’s putting out a new leaf? I’ve had her for about a month to let her acclimate, should I repot now? Why are the leaves browning? Any tips for Thai cons?
HELPPPP!! My monstera was doing great until recently! It was growing rapidly, so I separated the plant into 2 pots and repotted them into nursery pots using soil, perlite, and an orchid mix. Now they are drooping with droopy leaves. I recently watered hoping they perk up but…nothing. Any advice? Are they in shock? I keep a humidifier on, and my grow light on for 12hrs and they still aren’t satisfied.
Raffiki has blessed me with one leaf already (to the right of the new leaf) and this lil baby popping out looks to be very variegated so I can’t wait to see its beauty😁
