   How do the roots in the soil look? I wouldn’t rush to repot— Monsteras like to be root bound. I wouldn’t repot unless 1) you have pests/doubt the soil quality (they want chunky) or 2) you’re needing to water it too often. I don’t recommend a moss pole. I suggest you either cut the aerial root or poke it into the soil. Finally, give it a pole to climb! Good luck!!

   moss poles or coco coir poles are high maintenance. coco coir also has a habit of rotting if it touches the soil 🤢. just use a wooden 2x4. cheap and easy. for that ariel root, you can just chop it. it's not gonna hurt your plant.

   You can try to guide the aerial root back into the soil if you want or you can cut it back with clean scissors if it’s getting to long for your taste. I agree that I wouldn’t necessarily repot it yet unless it’s super root bound. That being said, I’ve been known to repot things earlier than recommended simply because I wanted to get it on a moss pole, but I wouldn’t increase the size of the pot at all just yet unless it’s super root bound. I personally love moss poles, but I do agree that they’re more work and monsteras can mature just fine on another type of support, so if not a moss pole I’d also recommend a wooden plank or a metal trellis when you do eventually add some support.
