New leaf on my propagation đ„°đ±
Latest leaf đ€©
Iâm kinda sick of my monstera- Iâve had it for 2.5 years and itâs still never put out a fenestrated leaf while Iâve had it. Iâve given her sunlight, fertilizer, support, idk what else to do! She just gets tall and skinny and thatâs about it! All the fenestrated leaves are still from when I got it at the nursery. The bottom leaves are lifted a bit with some flexible wire and I just repotted her today so sheâs a little flimsy, so keep that in mind. Someone please help me!
Babyâs first aerial root!!! đ„čđ„čđ„č
Why isnât my monstera getting any fenestrations
After the variegation reverted on the last leaf, I was soo surprised to see this splash of everything!đ
Ive had my yhai con under this grow light for quite some time now, but noticing this black spot growing on one of the leaves. Is it too close & getting burnt?
hi everyone! iâm super new to taking care of plants and i was just hoping for some advice about alphonso here! heâs had a lot of new shoots pop up recently but im concerned about some of these dry brown areas and that one of these new shoots had wilted. i water him regularly and let the soil dry out between waterings too. any advice đđ
I bought this plant from a garden centre at the beginning of January thinking it was a monstera⊠It was fully marketed as one, but Iâve since learned itâs actually a âmonstera minima compactâ, which isnât actually a real monstera. It just kind of looks like one, so I guess thatâs close enough for the label đ Itâs related to the monstera but botanically, itâs a different genus. Iâm still figuring out all the different monstera types, so I probably shouldâve clocked that it didnât look quite like a monstera đ (I do also own a monstera adansonii)
Monstera Adansonii? Esqueleto?? Obliqua??? My girl Priscilla here was sold to me as an adansonii but sheâs not really growing like others Iâve had in the past. Sheâs much far fenestrated and longer and her stems seem like they may be stronger cause she itâs like refuses to vine down. She is so perky and seems to only be interested in climbing. This app wants to identify her as an obliqua but Iâm not convinced so Iâm curious what others might think!
AMAZING NEWSSSS!! Mrs. Park is healing BEAUTIFULLY. I donât have any pictures right now, but Iâll post some either later tonight or tomorrow. Thank you all SO much for your help and support, I love you, and Iâll talk to you later. đ
Okay so BAD NEWS. Mrs. Park got knocked over by one of the cats, and one of her shoots broke. Thankfully that shoot was connected to another. So I tied it back to the main shoot considering it wasnât fully broken. I literally have zero idea what Iâm doing so Iâm here for help. đŹ but this plant was 30$!! đ„Č
My Monstera has little holes on the edge of one of her leaves, not sure if they actually are holes and Iâm just blind. But Iâm concerned for my baby.. đ
Iâm looking for some guidance on moss poles for when I repot my Monstera deliciosa, I put this one in when I first got the plant 3 years ago and did it completely wrong. Now sheâs growing in a sort of S shape, probably because of the lack of support. I have a new, sturdier, looser filled pole I want to put in when I repot next. From what I've read, the back of the plant should be resting on the moss pole for support, however the whole stem leans forward and to the right, so Iâm not sure how Iâd go about this. Any tips would be greatly appreciated.
So my Thai Con is gorgeous, I love her so much, but Iâm trying to get her to grow faster. Sheâs just a little guy and hasnât given a new leaf in about 3 months. Thoughts please????
Saw this monster of a monstera at a house warming, even growing fruit. Going back for a cutting!
Holly cow guys I just got a monstrea white off FB for 40$
Hi maniacs, could you please give me some advice here? Iâm getting new leafs at the base of my monstera (Joaquina). There are no exposed roots. I wonder how I can support it in a way that it grows up and get fancy leafs with the holes. đ thank you! Chat GPT told me that she is still young.
S.O.S. My friend asked for help in bringing his monstera back to happy, healthy glory but I may be in over my head here and am looking for suggestions. He repotted her and weâre moving her off the dark corner hutch she was on and put her next to the window so she doesnât have to strain but my instincts are to chop, propagate, and start her over. Thatâs what I did with mine when it was struggling and now sheâs thriving but heâs hesitant to and pretty attached to trying to keep her intact as much as possible. Thank you!
My first leaf with the inner fenestration. My friends wonât understand my excitement haha. đ
