Because folks here are among the few to appreciate this: This was a Father’s Day present for my husband 5 years ago…I think I paid $20 at Trader Joe’s. Our kids now call Maui “the infinite Monstera”… 🤣 I don’t have a baby photo, but the one of Maui in the green pot was a good 2 years ago. The remaining FIVE (yes, 5) is where we are now. The largest one in the white pot is Maui OG.

Hey guys! I miraculously found this Thai constellation Monstera at my local grocery store but she’s not looking too good. Dr. planta tells me that it’s overwatering but it also says that there’s over 50% chance that it could be under watering by the grocery store. Would you guys be willing to help me figure out how to save this plant? Should I cut off the dead leaf?

Hi All, I just did my first miss pole for my Monstera and I notice fungus gnats today. I use Molly’s mis which is soilless. Does anyone know if the sphagnum moss could be the issue? Or attracting them. I don’t know if I can deal with it if they do. I don’t do bugs 🤣and am pretty vigilant when it comes to prevention. I brought home a Scindapsis and haven’t reported it into Molly’s mix yesterday so that plant could have brought them in. Just wanted to get feedback on how to keep them away from a soggy moss pole going forward. Thanks!!!

Hello plant peeps! I am new to caring for this beautiful monstera (Coco), however, I love this plant and the leaves it produces. Worried about the browning parts on her though. Recently repotted and pruned her because of root rot and pest that were deep down in the soil. Any useful information or tips on keeping this plant healthy and happy? Don’t want to kill her before she takes off and flourishes. 😅💚

I Just propagated these babies, and they’re looking sad, droopy, and one leaf is yellowing. The soil is dry I watered it 3 days ago when I repotted it. The pot has drainage holes, & it is placed next to a large window. Any suggestions on how to help it?

What’s the rule of thumb for pruning? I have quite a few OG leaves that are broken and sad, and I have some immature leaves that look ugly lol how many is too many leaves to cut? Where do you cut? Should I cut? lol I have all the questions! Example of leaves I want to chop for aesthetic and to promote better growth:

Can someone please help. What might be the issue of this plant? I think it’s a monstera? Or zebra pant? Same thing? Many thanks for your help.

Finally have my longed for large monstera deliciousa (have adansonii and a teeny Thai Constellation) and it’s oh-so beautiful and already more established than I expected when I ordered it. While a lovely surprise, this also means I’m having to get my head around support faster than planned. Any advice for a newbie to support? If I go with crossing U supports for now, would it be harder to switch to a moss or coir pole later? If I go with a pole, do I need it to be taller to allow for growth? Should I only pick an extendable option? How fast do they outgrow support? I’ve been doing my my online research and am very confused, any advice much appreciated 😅

Hi! Any advice on what these small brown specs are on my monstera deliciosa? Also the yellowing leaf? This plant grows in water with a suitable fertilizer. All other leaves appear fine. It just put out a healthy new leave recently. Thanks!
