I Just propagated these babies, and they’re looking sad, droopy, and one leaf is yellowing. The soil is dry I watered it 3 days ago when I repotted it. The pot has drainage holes, & it is placed next to a large window. Any suggestions on how to help it?

It might have repot shock, but repotted plants sometimes like to be watered good for the first few days. If it was a water propagate especially it might want more water and the yellow leaf might just be from taking from oxygen rich water to low oxygen soil

Thank you! I got it from the parent plant, so no water propagation. Do you recommend that I water again?

Water propagation is fine and a valid way to propagate but I would personally water it again and if it doesn’t perk up in a few hours the. It light just be sadly not strong enough. Or it’s something deeper like the soil PH or something like that but it’s hard to tell.

You didn’t water prop these? These appear to be rotting. Are there roots?

No, I did not water prop them, and yes they do have roots (:

Could also be root rot but if they looked fine theee days ago when you planted it’s not super likely that they would have rotted fast. Died maybe but not rot

I’m wondering if it is shock, since I repotted them, I’m just not sure what I should do to help it.

It’s most likely shock but other than water and maybe a littler fertilizer there isn’t much

Thank you for your feedback! I inspected the roots and they were not mushy, I added a picture of them.

The roots look ok this is strange. Could it be underwatering?

The soil towards the bottom was a little damp, not wet or soaked. But I can try watering again, I did water it 3 days ago until the water came out of the drainage holes.

It’s gotta be shock like Josie has suggested. Maybe because it wasn’t water propped, more root stress?

Do you recommend I take it out of the soil and put in water? Or do you think it will recover from the shock

It might be too late but I would try as a last ditch 🤞
