Hi everyone! I just got my first Monstera; itâs aged and was in a place where it didnât receive nearly any sunlight or water, I brought it home, repotted it, trimmed her back, and started weekly watering. The plant is definitely in shock; yellowing leaves, droopy and curling in. I donât know what to do, Iâm so scared im killing her and Iâve never had a monstera before. Can anyone give me advice? The first picture was when I brought her home; before transplanting and trimming her, the second picture is right after trimming her an getting her on a moss pole. Last image is today.
Bought a beautiful mini monstera just under a week ago. Just spotted the route on wide side is furry (posted photo comparison to other). When I touched it, a minuscule orange worm reared its head. Anybody any tips or suggestions to what it could be and whether itâs treatable? Thanks in advance! Jamie (Enthusiastic but definitely a novice!)
Hi all! I recently got a Monstera Deliciosa as a celebrating for graduating my first student from program! I am obsessed with her already. She is sitting about 10-12 feet from my large south facing bay window that gets bright sunlight for 10-14 hours per day. When I got her, she was already bursting her 6in nursery pot at the seams, so I immediately replanted her in this 8in pot with a drainage plate underneath. I live in the Midwest, so sunlight can be very hit or miss. My fav plant store said if you can read a book in the natural light for most of the day, that should be enough for a monstera. My living room blinds are always open, so itâs getting indirect sunlight daily. I do have a grow light that I can supplement the lighting if needed, but Iâm really just looking for reassurance on the care. The first picture is this week, the second picture was right after I repotted her!
Hi all! Iâm seeking advise on if I should consider pruning my monstera. I have had this one for about a year and she has been growing steadily. I have not repotted her since I got her but she is still growing so I am unsure what to do to ensure that she stays healthy.
Anyone know whatâs wrong with this new leaf on my plant? I take good care of it - lots of water good light and mist it for humidity. Not near any hot pipes or anything either which I originally thought about due to the perfect line.
Hello, Iâm new here and have had my Monsteraâs (Fernando and Emiliano) for about a month. They are growing beautifully and look fine to me but Iâm wondering when and if I should repot them. Any tips and suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Is my new deliciosa leaf to be light green đ§đ± just want to make sure it's not on its way to turning yellow or anything like my monkey mask likes to sometimes
I have 2 Monstera Peru plants that I got at the same time and are about the same size. Each plant is about 7 inches tall-soil to end of stem tall, both in 4 inch pots, both have good roots and each pot has 7 leaves. I was thinking about combing them into one 9â pot? What do yâall think of that idea? Or should I keep them separate? I donât know if it makes any difference, but they were bought at the same time from same seller. Thanks for any advice you can give me.
I got a free monstera adansonii prop Any tips? Best way and when to plant? Soil recommendations?

Hey everyone! I just got a few new plants, one being a Swiss Cheese Monstera(Monstera deliciosa) It is my first time having one and i have it currently in my college dorm. Any advice would be greatly appreciated :)
Hi! I just picked up my first Monstera deliciosa Thai constellation from my local nursery. I understand that these guys like bright indirect light. I currently have it right up against my window that gets the morning sun. The rest of the day, according to the light meter on this app, itâs in part sun part shade. My kitchen downstairs has full sun but my problem is it tends be much cooler down there since the windows are kind of drafty. I want it grow HUGE leaves so my question is should I get it a grow light? Or will it be ok the way it is. Thank you! Update: forgot to mention that sheâs on an east facing window. Unfortunately I donât have any south facing windows.
I disinefected what I used to cut and it browned quite badly what is happening and what do I do?
My $15 variegated adansonii wet stick is finally showing some love! Itâs so rewarding to grow a plant from nothing, canât wait for its next leafđ€
New 30cm baby monster, just moved out of nursery pot. Hope he likes the spot next to the window
If I ever cut back anything it ALWAYS grows back with brown edges. Please help I don't what it is
Help please! My plants have turned against me! Any suggestions would be appreciated, thank you!
does anyone have grow light recommendations? My monstera is so big now that my only choice is to keep it in the corner and itâs starting to produce smaller leaves than it has in the past.
Two new leaves after repotting my monstera a week ago. She loves this corner with windows on both sides. I also had one yellow leaf on the bottom so itâs not all perfection.
