Just want to share this absolute beast of a new leaf on one of my Monsteras. The fenestrations are INSANE! 😍 This leaf took a few weeks to unfurl and was one of three that opened right around the same time. I’m such a proud mama!!! 🥹
‼️‼️Please Help‼️‼️ Got this swiss cheese monstera as a rescue. For only $5!!! I couldnt pass it up. I have him potted in an all purpose, tropical soil and perilite mix. I also removed a few damaged leaves. Over all the roots look healthy. Also added some miracle growm tropical Foliage fertilizer. Any further suggestions?! Or should i leave him alome to acclimate?
My friend gave me this monstera and I received it very straggly.. how should I help it! I’m glad to see a new leaf but the rest of the plant looks sad :(
Hi! I have two monsteras. One is a tiny baby, young plant. That is my OG monstera deliciosa aka Monte. The other one is a have is an Albo Monstera Deliciosa aka Albert. I’m wondering when I should be repotting them! Monte seems to be thriving in his pot still and same with Albert; however, Albert was a cutting and is currently in perlite. He has beautiful chunky and healthy roots, so I’m curious when I should put him in my chunky soil mix! Thanks!
Please help! I ordered this monstera deliciosa off TikTok and got her 4/22. It came in very wet soil and the roots were existent but not very developed. She’s about 18” tall. I put her in a pot with a mix of soil that consists of orchid bark, perlite, and tropical plant mix soil because I know drainage is important. She had two good drinks about a week apart where I bottom watered. I think she got either too much sun or over watered. I moved her out of direct light and her soil is dry up until the bottom two inches. What can I do?
I am new to Monsteras and have a large Thai constellation. Could it be exhibiting rotting and discolored leaves from being root bound?? I don’t see any rotten roots and it doesn’t have pests. I thought it might be overwatered, but it actually doesn’t seem too bad when I pulled it out of the pot. It does have a beautiful new leaf too! Please help!
Annabelle has grown up to the top of her moss pole! Base to top stem she’s almost exactly 16”. I replaced her moss today as the moss I had originally retained zero moisture and had no substrate to cling to.
Hi! I’ve had this plant for about 3 months and one of the leaves recently started having brown flaky spots. Any ideas what’s causing this? It is in a west facing window so it gets some direct sunlight for a few hours in the afternoon but most of the day it’s shaded. Thinking it might be too sunny though.. No idea
Just checked Remy’s leaf today and it has fenestration!! I’m so happy and can’t wait for it to completely unfurl
Help! I’m freaking out and I am so excited! My husband got me some Monstera Albo cuttings from Ebay. They just arrived today, all the way from SirLanka (I’m in the US) They look ok, they were in a plastic bag with some coconut coir, and plenty of moisture. They have some roots. What do I do now to avoid shock, etc. I REALLY want them to grow and thrive 😣
Finally got my dream alocasia 🥰🥰 silver dragon. Wish me luck!! I havw him potted in a perilite, all purpose, and tropical soil. Any suggestions!! Ill be post my rescue as well soon!
Hello monstera lovers! I have a question. Just wondering about a few things being a new monstera momma. So I recently repotted Coco because I suspected root rot and pest infestation. Which I was right about. So I cleared it up. Repotted her, but I think I repotted her into a pot too big. I didn’t know at first, that monsteras like rather smaller pots. Im not sure if this pot is too big. Doesn’t seem like it at times but Ive realized the soil is still damp down under. I even pulled two of these stems off last week which has halted my watering. Last time I watered was on the 22nd, I do mist her everyday. I’m trying not to overwater or kill this plant like I almost did. Any advice? Will she be fine? Should I repot her again into a smaller pot? Will me messing with her again shock or damage her? Thank you in advance and hope y’all have a wonderful day! 💚🪴
Did a big upgrade for my og monstera 🤩 full repot, I didn’t like the previous mix of soil so I fully removed that but mainly due to this pot having 3 stems (2 climbing & 1 crawler) so I had to better position them so I could get them all facing the same way 🙃 My soil mix is super loaded & doing a real moss pole this time, additionally went down a pot size so it could get more snug so I’m hoping this + all the good light it gets will make her grow huge this summer! 🤞🏽
Anyone has some ideas? I’ve had this Thai Con For about 3 months. I water weekly, it’s about 3 feet away from a large window, I haven’t fertilized as yet. It was initially fine then one leaf started turning brown from the tips. I snipped it but the browning continued. Now two other leaves are affected despite a new leaf coming out? I admit it’s been a bit colder in my home about 69 on average. And I recently added a humidifier. Any tips or advice? Please?
does this look fine pole-wise?
