Two observations as my monstera (that i’ll soon be gifting) sizes up. 1) I’ve notice with this one and another one from same mother plant really began to get 10inch leaves after its 5-6 leaf with a noticeable bumpy texture to petioles/stem. 2) Does this white flecking appear to be sport variegation?

saw this listing for $30. the white part of the leaves have browned but the variegation on the nodes look good… is it worth it?
just picked up this gorgeous monstera. I have a 6500K 10W LED grow light, is that enough to keep her growing nicely?
TRAGEDY!! Our U-Haul trailer malfunctioned and caught fire during our move last week and my beautiful Monstera (plus my Jungle Boogie and Spider plant) was a victim. I’m devastated. RIP to The Greatest. (My husband, the dogs, the cat, myself, and my other plants all made it safely 🙏🏻)
Greetings! I purchased this plant from the local sandwich shop. The owner of this shop sells cuttings of their plants. I got this plant for $15. It came in this mason jar of water. I asked the cashier what type of plant it is and he had no clue. I bought it anyway because I believe it’s a monstera. BUT all of the monsteras I’ve seen in the local plant shops and Ace hardware charge about $50-$60 for something smaller than this! So am I correct? If so, what’s the best medium to plant it in? And how much do these plants normally run? Have any of you paid over$60 for a house plant? Thanks 🥰
What's the best way to get this to run up the trellis? I had initially potted it incorrectly, then repotted it to have it aligned correctly at the base so the did roots can grow upwards. Whats next?!
thai con gave me a very pretty leaf recently!
I need to re-pot my Monstera. I have Sphagnum moss. Is this ok to add to the mixture? Or should I get Peat moss?
My big boys are doing well, with the exception of one leaf that is yellowing. It’s the newest leaf .. not sure what’s going on.. I can’t see anything moving, but there are white specks on the leaf.. ideas????
Praying I can save my baby girl Marilyn. She was a victim of root rot 😭😭😭 she legit has the smallest aerial root but it’s doing what needs to be done so I’m gonna just watch her 👀👀👀🪴💚💚💚
Hello! Does anyone know whether there’s a way to get a monstera to grow a leaf lower down on the vine? Or do they only grow from the end of the vine?
Hello! First time Monstera owner and decided to start by rescuing a neglected Delicosa from Facebook Marketplace. This baby is in ROUGH shape. I've pulled two (hopeful) propagations off of it, but I don't know what else to do! I moved her from a 12 inch pot to a 20 inch pot, but she's SO HEAVY and awkwardly shaped. Any tips welcome!
Help please!! I have had this baby for years and now some of the leaves are turning brown. I water when the soil is dry and the soil is a good drainage soil. I found out (since I joined this group) that they are climbers. Mine has never climbed because I didn’t know they did. So he has been stretching out and loving it. I recently tried to give him support and he seemed happier before. What should I do? Should I take him down and let him do his thing? Should I keep him supported and hope he will like it eventually? Please help. I don’t want him to die 😢
This is the most exciting thing since sliced bread. My baby is pushing out a new leaf and it looks like it’s going to have venestrations!!!!!
Trying to grow a monstera deliciosa as an aquatic plant.
Hello! I am a first time monstera owner and am very excited to see this plant thrive (hopefully)! I watered it 5 days ago but the top soil still feels very dry. This plant is next to the heater but I’ve only just turned on my heater (yesterday). Was hoping for some guidance on if I should water again or should I just leave it alone! Any tips/comments would be helpful! Thanks!
She is growing new Arial roots!!! But they arent moving close/towards my moss poll. I think almost all of the aerial roots are growing on one side, should I move the moss poll closer to the aerial roots?
Hello! New member here and I have my first ever monstera plant. I got her as a "bush" on August 31st. Including a photo of her on day 1 here. She's grown a ton, and looking pretty good but I feel like is starting to get a little unruly. I added a moss pole, but there are so many different large leaves coming up that its not supporting everything. I just moved her off the floor to this raised plant table. But I feel like something is starting to feel off. Am I right in thinking this may actually be 4 or 5 plants in one pot? If so should I separate them? I'm terrified to do that, so any advice welcome. I really love this plant and want it to thrive!
Officially have all 3 of my delisiosas on moss poles
