I've had this guy for a year or so... It's not dead, so that's good, but I'm curious how I can guide it towards being like some of the amazing specimens I see in everyone's posts. Is the best reco to get a moss pole and promote upward growth? Or is there a full and happy version outside of that route?

Yellowing leaves? This was a perfect plant when I bought it the first of January. I have watered according to directions, although I did water a couple days earlier because it was droopy and dry. I am using a 12 hour grow light since it is in a corner beside a window and doesn’t get much natural light. I have picked off 4 yellow leaves so far and I see two more ! The last pic is the day I brought it home. No signs of yellow. Help!!

We call this “leggy”, right? Any tips to encourage more upright growth? A grow light above, maybe…

Need help identifying my Adansonii! When purchased at the nursery (Jan 2024), the plant was labeled as the Mint variety. The plant was ~8 inches tall with 2 leaves. It is now a little over 3 feet tall and had been successfully propagated once. The variegation is also stable so far. I’m just now unsure that it is truly a Mint! Any insight is greatly appreciated :)

Monty, as I call him, was not even 3ft tall when I bought him. He’s been a part of our family for four years and this is what happened…. I’m contemplating cutting him back a bit, but I haven’t done the research yet. Any help would be very much appreciated in the comments.

My baby girl—I’m so in love with her! I’m a little bit of a newbie with plants and just attached her to this coconut coir pole yesterday, did I do that right?

How far down should i cut to remove this stem off of my young monstera? Someone else cut it while it was at the store, after i brought it home it started to look like this.

Hello all 👋 For those who have had success with monstera adansonii would you know why I have experienced some almost mottled discoloration and wrinkles on leaves? I suspect it may be moisture related but I also feel like Ive seen a lot of people have success just growing them in house environments. This is one of a few that I started from wet sticks. Any possibility it is just the plant needing to grow and mature?

So I’m new to all this plant stuff. I just got a monstera, and here’s where I currently have it — west facing window. Would it be too little light if I put it where I’m standing and taking the pic from in the second picture? It’s usually brighter, but we’re having a snow storm — in New Orleans!!!

This plant was recently gifted to me. There are two large dried up stems/branches and looking for advice if I should cut them off? If so, how do I do that?

Hello everyone ☺️ would anyone have any suggestions how I can encourage my monstera leaves to promote the leaves grow upright and tall? Right now, her shape looks so sad and crowded but I’ve tried rearranging the leaves several times with no luck Any help would be so appreciated at this point 😭

Help! My girl has pushed out new leaves - I’ve been keeping up with my watering schedule, misting, and using a humidifier. I check moister levels with my meter and do not water until dried out. I’m not sure if it’s the lighting but she gets indirect light filtered from my windows with a cling. Don’t know if she needs more light or less or what. Also has no bugs whatsoever - I checked the leaves, soil, and have a trap just incase. I can’t seem to figure it out. The app is giving me too many reasons as to why. Do I cut these off? Do I move her? Current placement in picture but can move her anywhere around here. Any and all advice appreciated!

Hello! I just need some advice and some second options. She is growing too fast and if I add another pole, it will be too top heavy and she doesn’t have a lot of bottom roots for a bigger pot. Should I chop and prop and if so where should I do it at ? Thank you! I just don’t wanna kill her she is my best grower.
