Hi all! I bought my monstera deliciosa in April as a tiny young plant. It was the first house plant I had in awhile other than cat grass and seedlings for my outside pots. I have been trying my best to keep her happy. I bought a grow light earlier this month and finally I have two fenestrations! I am over the moon about it. 😁 I look forward to spring/summer when I’ll probably repot and get her a good moss pole setup.

Attempting to tie this guy up into something presentable. We let it kind of grow wild in a corner and now need to do something else. Possible to tie up or you think we need to cut it back and start fresh

i snipped my beautiful school green house adansonii when trying to open her little prop bottle bc i wanted to give her a bigger one :(( i put her in this shot glass, she has some emerging root and growth, so I'm hoping she's not doomed.

My Thai Baby has its first fenestration leaf! This monstera sweats! I have changed my watering. I think I may be overwatering it…. But…. Now it’s fully unrolled!

Had a bit of a disaster. My mini monstera had grown so big it needed a much taller moss pole. Then that was tippy so decided to go into a bigger pot. In repotting the entire long plant broke off from its roots. I cut it in pieces and put in water (with nodes). How long will they take to root? I guess it will be bushier.

hey y’all !! im not too experienced w using moss poles for plants so i’m in need of some advice. i have this monstera that is just a tad bit taller than the moss pole and the aerial roots are holding on to it for dear life. what should i do now that the plant is getting too tall??? any help/tips would be appreciated :)

It was so difficult to take a picture ahaha but any ideas what that lil green nib is right at the base?? by where the soil is?? i’ve not noticed it before and am just wondering 🥰

So this fellow was given to me by a friend who had been keeping him in water. I potted him up, and he seemed to be doing fine and throwing up new leaves. Well today, I took the pot out of the planter, and the roots are running wild. I cringed putting the pot back in the planter because I heard the roots crunch 😖 Anyone have any suggestions? It’s definitely not big enough to need a new pot yet. I’m worried they’ll rot with no air flow :/

Can I keep my monstera in water indefinitely? The only pot I have big enough for this is big enough for my cat to get into. and she gets INTO it. It seems to be doing fine in the water, those are new leaves.

I just repotted this guy because it was so unbalanced, it kept falling over. When I opened it up, it was pretty root-bound too. I gave it a moss pole and tried to tie it up a bunch so it will stand up more, but some of the leaves are just funky/floppy and I don’t know what to do. Any advice? Will it fix itself after a while with the pole?

i recently got this Monstera Adansonii, i was wondering if i should repot it? there is a new leaf on top which seems to be curling downwards. Also, is the pot next to the monstera an appropriate size to upgrade to? it’s the smallest size i could find in my local garden shop 🫶 any help appreciated, as well as any general tips on monstera Adansonii care will also be well received ❤️
