It’s been two weeks since it’s been in a jar with lecas but I’m not sure if I see any changes… I can’t tell if my monstera is doing ok 😢 weird brown parts and tip of aerial roots peeling. Is it ok for me to cut the aerial roots? I don’t think I can fit this in a pot with such long aerial roots.

Hello and happy new year!! ✨ my monstera is having a couple new growths that are yellow. Is this normal? No yellow big leaves though. Thanks in advance!!

Hey everybody, happy new year! I’m sadly having some issues with my Monstera. A month or so ago it was looking vibrant, lush and happy but a few weeks back I’d seemingly overwatered it and it’s drainage pot it lived in was 1/4 full of water, oops. I took it out, let it drain for a few hours til the draining holes weren’t as wet and popped it back in its pot. Sadly it’s not bounced back yet. The leaves are super droopy, look damaged and have marks on them. the top layer of soil is fairly damp, roots are damp and there’s no water in the drainage pot. It lives in about 60-65% humidity but it is about 30ft from the humidifier and about 30ft from a wall of windows either south facing light (in a murky uk winter). The room temperature is a stable 18 degrees and I mist/water as per the app. Could the marks on the leaves be disease? Low humidity? Overwatering? Not enough light? Etc Many thanks,

Hello - first time poster, new crazy plant lady so don’t come for me if I’m doing this all wrong LOL I thought my monstera was actually dying until this summer/fall I had 3-4 new leaves! But it still looks sad to me. Why are my leaves growing down as opposed to fanning out? Also - I’ve seen things online say that air roots are bad and mean something, but wanted to check here first before Google. Thank you in advance!

My monstera is thin & leggy should i propagate her or leave her alone? She also has these small white bugs in the soil that might be soil mites but I don't really know.

Hello everyone, My monstera plant came from a big box store and is doing great except for when the cooler weather hit. I live in Las Vegas Nevada so it doesn’t get that cold (most of the time). But between me moving to a new house, the sun dropping in the sky, the cooler air, and trying to find places to put plants inside as the sun moves and room permits my monstera plant is drooping and curling a bit. The roots started growing through the drainage holes before I moved but it was still growing so I didn’t want to repot it during that time. I think this is the best time to repot but I want to make sure. And should I separate the plants since they are not all facing the same direction so that I can put a stake in for them to help them grow better? Thank you for any help you can give. This is the first plant that has grown a good size, except for my aloe, which is really difficult to kill. Thank you, Catrina

Hi all! I need help… bought this girl in the mail 2 weeks ago. I watered once I received her but not since and the soil is still moist, so I know she isn’t dry. I’ve noticed a few brown spots on the leaves I figured it was from being transported in a box. Now I see brown tips. She is close to a radiator because it’s my only available window, the radiator is closed and she is on a stand. Any thoughts? FYI I live in the Northeast so I’m using a grow light and mist my plants every other day.

Guys I’m at the end of my tether! My gorgeous monstera gets gnats every time I water her. I am using a clay pot and specially made well draining soil and I wait ages between waterings so that she’s definitely dry. I also bottom water her so that her top layer remains dry. Yet she still gets these buggers!! Why? What am I doing wrong?? Maybe when I bottom water her, I get too keen and give her too much water?? She drank it all today though. Foliage, light and stems are fine - she is thriving other than the occasional gnat. Currently I have lots of vinegar pots around her Please can you enlighten me? Thank you!

Every time I water my monstera, I get white mold on top! I don’t know what to do to prevent this! I have a grow light on it but it still keeps happening. Any suggestions??

this is my monstera plant, i feel like i may be overreacting but im a little worried about the drooping leaves at the bottom, little bit of dead skin on the one leaf as well. ⭐️⭐️ next to a window with indirect sunlight during the day, little colder recently due to colder weather, watered as normal (last watered yesterday)

So there’s a long story, but short story is I was gifted this BEAUTIFUL baby yesterday!! Any tips or tricks on keeping her happy would be appreciated! What type of sun should she be getting? Watering? I’m a newbie to monsteras in general, and I was gifted 5 different ones.

Does my baby look droopy or am I overreacting? Doesn’t need water. Gets decent light. Suggestions?

Hi all! Im new ish to keeping Monstera, espically the TC. This is my first one, and I know they are prone to root rot, so I am wondering if my substrate mix is optimal. Ive mixed 3 equal parts: soil, perlite and sphagnum moss. Its been retaining moisture well but im concerned that this will lead to rot root? Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks all and happy holidays!
