I know monstera’s don’t like to be cluttered in and like to have the space to grow. Is this too close for my new monstera? Should I move it to a more open space?

I’m a beginner plant lover and repotted my monstera into a pot that is way too large. It’s been droopy ever since and that was about 3 months ago. Should I repot again into something smaller or best to wait until spring? Thanks!

My monstera albo propagation is finally growing its first leaf! Purchased a top cutting on FB marketplace back in July and have been patiently waiting ever since. Not having had an albo leaf before, I don’t know what to expect, but the tip of the new leaf is looking very white. Can’t wait to see its variegation 😅

Hi all, I have a cutting off of my larger monstera and I’m wondering how long I should leave it until I pot it. I’ve attached the profile for it to this post as well if that helps and I’ve also included some pictures of the roots it’s got. It’s currently been in water for 3 months. Well, I got a mass pole for my Monstera. It took me forever to tie it up, but my poor Monstera has had a mind of its own since I bought it because I never knew they climbed. So I just pinned him up as best I could, and as far as I’m concerned, he looks amazing lol. There still is a portion of him that hangs over but it is so heavy that I’m just gonna let it do its thing. I’m not perfect and my plants don’t have to be either lol I also got him a friend that sits right beside him. I’ve already given him support lol.

Hey can anyone help me identify this monstera prop I have. (If you know about “whatnot” I got it as a givy) and I’m not sure what it is exactly. The clipping I have had a larger leaf but was very damaged from the mail. I might just have to wait until it grows.

It’s not unfurled all the way but I’m too excited to share. 🤩🤩🤩 two fenestrations on one and FOUR fenestrations on the other side!!!!! It’s not a super big leaf but the fenestrations make it worth it!

Two observations as my monstera (that i’ll soon be gifting) sizes up. 1) I’ve notice with this one and another one from same mother plant really began to get 10inch leaves after its 5-6 leaf with a noticeable bumpy texture to petioles/stem. 2) Does this white flecking appear to be sport variegation?

TRAGEDY!! Our U-Haul trailer malfunctioned and caught fire during our move last week and my beautiful Monstera (plus my Jungle Boogie and Spider plant) was a victim. I’m devastated. RIP to The Greatest. (My husband, the dogs, the cat, myself, and my other plants all made it safely 🙏🏻)

Greetings! I purchased this plant from the local sandwich shop. The owner of this shop sells cuttings of their plants. I got this plant for $15. It came in this mason jar of water. I asked the cashier what type of plant it is and he had no clue. I bought it anyway because I believe it’s a monstera. BUT all of the monsteras I’ve seen in the local plant shops and Ace hardware charge about $50-$60 for something smaller than this! So am I correct? If so, what’s the best medium to plant it in? And how much do these plants normally run? Have any of you paid over$60 for a house plant? Thanks 🥰

What's the best way to get this to run up the trellis? I had initially potted it incorrectly, then repotted it to have it aligned correctly at the base so the did roots can grow upwards. Whats next?!

thai con gave me a very pretty leaf recently!

I need to re-pot my Monstera. I have Sphagnum moss. Is this ok to add to the mixture? Or should I get Peat moss?
