My monstera used to be so healthy, now not so much 😞 I have so many questions I don’t know where to start. Can someone please give advice on how to save it? I’ve used Dr. Planta and searched things left and right, I’m worried it will not survive. 😭 Any help is greatly appreciated.
How long has it been in that soil? Could it be that the soil has run out of nutrients? I also have a monstera that I thought was not happy at all. I chopped some of its leaves with nodes to propagate them and at least keep it going that way. My mother plant is now doing better and pushing out new leaves. The propagations are still developing roots, but they are doing really well so far.

0개 좋아요 I honestly don’t know if you you should propagate it all. If it were me, I think I would be trying to keep as much as I could from the mother plant, because it is already older. Propagations will most likely give me young leaves which will be unfenestrated, and I don’t know how long it will take for them to mature. If you keep any part of the main plant, I would recommend you repot it with fresh soil and since you might have a smaller plant, maybe also repotting it into a slightly smaller pot.
