✨Tips wanted✨ I got this big ol girl for a steal about a week ago and repotted as she was extremelyyyy root bound. I broke up the roots a bit and planted in some tropical soil. I watered excessively that day (last Sunday) and misted once yesterday. I live in a fairly humid area with moderate weather (PNW), she is placed about 7 ft from a window with indirect sunlight. I’ve never had a monstera so large and haven’t had the best luck with plants since moving to this area; any tips on caring for her would be greatly appreciated!❤️

    If you notice any yellowing, you may want to move her closer to the window. They like a fair amount of light

    I would piggy-back and say to do that gradually. She’s gone through quite a lot already and moving her too much (too bright too quickly) could cause more stress. It looks as if it’s supported well (poles?). Continue doing that and consider extending the supports. You can also prune/propagate if you like. For me, I would trim off the yellow leaves at the base. Only because it’s quite full and I wouldn’t mind pruning. And wouldn’t mind another one (or two!) monsteras 😏 No need to fertilize for the next 60 days. Great job watering it!!

      I actually don’t have any supports for her right now, she’s just sturdy! I plan to get some soon as I’m sure she’s gonna get too heavy to be without them soon
