   juvenile plants usually just don't know what to do with themselves yet and do weird stuff like this instead of what they're "supposed" to do or what we want them to do. what a fun little mutation! next leaf should be normal.

   He might have a grandpa or something that had a bit of another kind of monstera in him, recessive genes just popping up, or just a random mutation while that specific leaf developed that causes abnormal fenestrating
