My adansonii has stopped putting out holes with the new leaves, what am I doing wrong? 😭 it’s literally in the brightest spot it could be (which is where it’s always been) and right now it’s giving me NOTHING!

    Mine was acting similar and then I moved it away from direct light and it’s sprung to life and shot out a bunch of very hole filled leaves. Maybe try putting it in a spot with indirect light??

      ok ok ok what I meant was it IS in indirect bright light. The brightest indirect light area I have at my place. Everywhere else is more low light or direct light. It was giving me plenty of holes in the exact spot. But now it’s being weird

      Oh gotcha gotcha, that is very strange! Does your plant have good drainage?

      I’d like to think it’s got good drainage. I always add extra perlite bc the pots get compacted easily with JUST soil. It’s super weird 😭 no holes, but all the nodes are growing longer than I’ve ever seen.

    do you have pics? could it perhaps need to be repotted? what direction does the window face, and how far is your adansonii from it

      it needs more light than it can get NE. east or west would be best, direct morning or evening light — mine is in a west facing window

      It gets some direct morning light, but there are no other options besides NE.
