this is my first time propagating!! when do i know to put this in soil? are these enough roots to pot it in soil? thanks!!!

    Rule of thumb is 4-8 weeks— or ideally 4/5 inches long to reduce chances of transplant shock. I would wait a bit longer! Make sure you change the water every week to avoid bacteria growing 😊

      If the water looks good, I would suggest to only top off as needed - I was informed that plants might secrete a root growth hormone and when you change the water out you’re getting rid of it which can stunt the growth!

    Also make sure to keep your plant a bit moist once you transplant as it’s used to water currently. You have “secondary” roots which is great!

    You want some lateral roots (your roots need roots) before planting in soil so give it a bit more time.
