Hi! I have this crazy big monstera and it’s all facing one direction. I just moved it in front of the windows with the “back” facing the window. Will this work to help make the plant more even or should I give up on ever having leaves facing the other way?
you actually want the leaves all facing one direction. that's how they're healthiest, they grow on trees naturally and will always want to face one direction.

All my plants face the window. When I have guests over, I go and turn all my plants around… lol

Hello, what a glorious plant! I have really enjoyed the youtube videos about monsteras from a young man’s channel called Kill This Plant. He inspired me to hack off the top of my monstera and start over with the more traditional “front/back” securement method to some type of sturdy support. Is it wrong to hope for a full plant with leaves facing in multiple directions? No, I can’t say there’s concrete law on the matter, but there are certainly lots of strong opinions from plant hobbyists. These are ornamental house plants that we bend to our will! You might have to cut back, propagate and repot to get the effect you are looking for and commit to frequent turns to keep the growth even. Or celebrate the really gorgeous look you have going right now! Either way, great work!
