What is the exact name of this Thai plant? Can someone tell me when I use Planta here it tells me something different. Just Swiss cheese plant. What is the technical name for it? What I really want to know is why does the top of my largest leaf look like it’s starting to get light brown on the edges could that be from too much watering or is it because I changed the pot did give it a moss pole, and it has the coco coir mixture of good topsoil and so forth just curious why it would be getting light brown on the edges and what to do with that

Monstera Thai Constellation or Albo. Both require the same care.

But do you have a clue why the top leave is browning on its top edge?

It’s because the white part has no chlorophyll, which is green, and that specific part of the plant cannot produce energy via photosynthesis without chlorophyll. This makes it to be of no use to the plant, but it still uses energy, so the plant basically cuts it off.

Monstera deliciosa “Thai Constellation”. Browning is normal on the white parts of thai cons and albos, they lack chlorophyll here and can’t sustain without it.

Yes I now learned that. I bought some silica liquid to see if that helps as I was told it does help. I shall see.
