time for a repot? the aerial roots have grown a lot, and i dont think the bamboo sticks are doing a lot for it anymore… not sure what size pot to go up to if so. currently a 17 inch pot ☘️

    The yellowing leaf is what’s giving me the idea it might need a repot, the aerial roots are supposed to be like that, only way to know for sure is gently take it out of the pot for an inspection 😁

      Also up 2” in pot size when you do repot 😇

    The yellow leaf looks like one of the oldest on the plant, so it might just be its time and nothing to worry about, especially since the rest of the plant looks great. Like above said, you could wiggle it out of its pot and see how the roots look. If you see more roots than dirt it might be ready to go up in pot size, 2” in diameter and height. Not sure how you measured earlier, but a 17 inch pot is pretty huge. I generally measure pots across the mouth/top to get the diameter measurement and go from there. Hope this helps!

      ah thank you for your advice! I meant to put 17cm - thanks for spotting😁 would you have a recommendation for the next size up from 17cm if its necessary?

    lol I had a feeling but I wasn’t sure. The conversion for cm to in is roughly 2.5cm to 1in, so I’d say around 22cm? Americans and our dang imperial measurements🙃
