Hello everyone I’m new here and please I need help 😣 My neighbor gave to me this Monstera but I’m worried about her. She gave me food plant as well What I should do? I saw few mosquitoes,fungus I believe around the pot and some friends recommended cinnamon.
I’d start by removing the plant from the pot and checking the roots and making sure they’re healthy, and treating if necessary. Then I’d repot in fresh, chunky soil with some support.
0개 좋아요 I feel like the pot is too big too, but the only way to know is to examine the roots. The pot should be 1 to 2 inches bigger than the root ball.

Smaller pot for sure^, they like to be more snug in the pot, then when repotting readjust the support pole. Look up the anatomy of the plant, the pole should be on the back side of the plant and holding the base. It’s holding the stems rn which need to be free
