Hello! Monty the Monstera is healthy overall except for this fella. Also, is that small dark stem above it concerning? Water schedule and soil are good. No root rot. Misting and grow lights are used. Any advice is greatly appreciated!

V.curiosAgree, if this is a young plant it could be a watering issue or maybe a root-bound issue? Being root-bound can affect the whole plant or leaves closer to the base of the plant. I found that when my monstera was a baby the roots were filling up the pot fairly quickly. Also agree, it would be helpful to see the whole plant.

Yes, still fairly a young one. Full picture posted comment above. So maybe a slightly bigger pot?

It’s bigger than I thought. A handsome fella! If it’s been in that pot for more than 6 months you might check to see if it’s getting root bound and if it is pot size up 2”.
