So, I water propagated this monstera. I had a great root ball so I planted it! When I first planted her she had two leaves. Needless to say, she’s been happy and growing like crazy! The only problem is the new baby I have growing on the side. The first leaf was successful but this new little one has a crispy end and seems to be having a hard time opening up. Should I chop it at the base? Or just pull off the dead part on the end?

Chop the crispy leaf. it's not recommended to keep multiple monsteras together, as they're prone to being root bound. if they keep getting crispy try misting the leaves as they unfurl.

I just planted the one, it grew the other one on the side. Should I uproot it and try to get the new one in a different pot? I’d hate for her to go into shock from all the moving though. I just planted the initial prop 5ish months ago. Thank you!! (:

Here is what she looked like when I planted her in October. I chopped the bigger leaf that looks dead before I potted!

i'd suggest uprooting it once it develops one or two more strong leaves. if that takes more than a few months, i'd wait until next spring to separate them 🤷‍♂️
