Rescued this baby a few days ago. Never had a monstera before. Any advice? How is she looking? She’s got some sad leaves, should I remove them? I’m clueless here. 🥲

      Someone was getting rid of it and had it down by the curb. They said it was bigger than they would like. 😭

      She said she paid $80 I think for it. It’s still in the nursery pot 😂

    Advice: let the soil dry out between waterings, make sure the pot has drainage, don’t repot until it’s root bound or when the roots start coming out of the drain holes, when you’re ready to report, check out how to make a “aroid mix” so the soil has plenty of drainage.

      Thank you!! I just watered it pretty good yesterday. It’s in the nursery pot in a decorative pot with drainage in both. I just wasn’t sure if she’s healthy looking or if I should get rid of leaves that are torn

      I think it looks fine. For mine I use a small amount of “Liquidirt” each time I water because they seem to always like more food. LOL You can also use a damp cloth and wipe down all the leaves. That will allow it to absorb plenty of light.
