Good afternoon my first Monstera is opening brand new leaves but some of them look like they have brown spots. One edge looks like it’s been eaten away? I don’t see any bugs or spider mites. Is there something else I should be looking for?

    I have a few opening leaves on mine and one my alocasias like this… so I’m following to see what others might say

    I just got a new monstera in January and it had some new growth start that immediately went brown when I got it home. I think it’s just from acclimating. Plants are finicky with change.

      I’m hoping it’s not any small bugs or anything that are going to get onto my other plants

    It could be not enough humidity I live in a really dry area and this happens to mine sometimes too. I just put her next to a humidifier and mist her every now and then :)
