I believe I can cut it off but Iโm waiting for it to dry out a bit more. It started off soggy.

plantgeeksoggy is almost never mechanical damage, it's a root problem. open up that pot!! also, removing the leaf would do no harm but you don't have to remove all of it, you can just trim off the dead bits and leave the rest

Itโs no longer soggy. Itโs dried up a bit so Iโll try to cut it out. After the new leaf blooms the old one may just die off.
