Spray with rubbing alcohol. Every 6-7 days. I will even use a special soap and wipe it down before spraying the leaves and stem with rubbing alcohol again. You need to keep applying and it will disrupt their breeding cycle and eventually they die off.

When I had thrips, I treated them weekly with Captain Jack’s on a rotation. First, I cut off any affected leaves (as thrips lay eggs in them) and threw them out immediately. Then, I’d take plants from one part of my house, take them all to the tub, spray them down, and leave them overnight to dry. I think I broke it up into three days a week to address all ~120 of my plants. I did this for 5 weeks just to be safe, but I think they were gone in 4. I also treated everybody with Bonide granules (except my alocasia) and that was it! PS: at the time, I was recycling water across all my plants, so I HAD to treat everybody because I had likely infested a lot of plants.
