I’m just looking to see if you guys think my plant is healthy looking? It’s grown about a foot taller from when I got her about 4 months ago. I haven’t had any dying leaves just some damaged from the kittens we had but I trimmed them off. Let me know what you think, ask any questions and i listen to all advice. I can post more pictures of her too.
It looks healthy, just a little bit leggy. It’s probably only grown that extra foot to get closer to the light source. I would recommend getting a much brighter light or moving it at least a foot or two closer to light if possible. The leaves look healthy as well despite any cat attacks, only going all around and facing every direction because they’ve been looking for that light

좋아요 1개How much bigger you suggest? that one is pretty massive, compared to what it came in at least. I was always told 1-2” bigger than what it came in.
0개 좋아요 That’s not entirely true monsteras prefer being in smaller pots and even like being root bound. I’m not saying it won’t help I’m just saying that’s what I have found out.

I disagree with the pot, it looks pretty huge. A good sturdy support is needed though at the back. (and more light, but you knew that already!) mine went really leggy from reaching for light. I took 3 cuttings from the top which are very happy in a vase of water, and my main plant sprouted 12 new shoots and leaves after being moved to a brighter spot and getting watered properly (after getting the free version of planta. I've since upgraded!) Your leaves are looking magnificent!

좋아요 1개I think alot of the leggy comes from trimming up the dead stuff the cats killed at the bottom half. I have moved her to a new room to see how she does! I also took 3 cuttings and put them in a vase with water so waiting to see how those do!

She looks like she’s doing pretty well! She would benefit from a moss pole or a plank to give her some support and encouragement to grow bigger ♥️
