When misting my Monstera Peru today—-no leaves were like this previously. You can see other photos that I’ve taken over the last month or so. It is sitting on a cabinet about 5 to 6 feet from an east facing window and may get some direct sunlight in the morning. Nowhere else on the plant has any type of brown area like this one. Thoughts please???

That's so strange. I would remove it and keep an eye out for others. It could be a pest with the stipling marks. The brown on the left looks like a scorch mark, but I wouldn't think itd get scorched that far from the window

I followed up on your advise and when I held on to the leaf with my left hand to steady it to cut with my right hand—it essentially just fell off the stem. The leaf and whatever is the part of the leaf attaches to the stem just fell off when I moved is only very, very slightly. This was 2 days ago. Today, I still do not see any brown areas on any other leaves (there are 8, including the one not completely unfurled). I moved stem and leaves around and none of them fell off or felt wiggly (like they may be loose and moving towards falling off-if this makes sense. Any other thoughts? Photo is of plant today. End of white plant label stake is indicating where leaf that fell off was. Thanks again for your help.

When they start to yellow like that sometimes they do just come right off. Id just keep checking the other leaves for any of that yellow stipling. Amd if you do spray with a pesticide. Though you could just spray it anyways as a precautionary
