Hey Emily, Yes that’s a Monstera deliciosa “Thai Constellation” Not huge on the tip part, I have no issue with mine so far I would just recommend making sure the soil you’ve bought it in is well draining enough for the plant, otherwise you should look into repotting it. I’ve heard that it can be a rather finicky plant so do lots of research! This app can help a lot 🙏🏼

Hi there, my monstera Thai con is not any more or less fussy than my normal monstera plants. Like other tropical plants I recommend using an aroid mix - if you google some recipes there’s plenty out there. My usual is about 2 parts potting mix, 1 part coarse perlite, 1 part coco chips, 1 part orchid bark, a handful of charcoal if I have some. The idea is to provide a chunky and very aerated substrate (compared to just soil) to avoid clogging the roots and helping prevent root rot. Variegated plants also enjoy more light than their non-variegated counterparts because the lighter parts of the leaves either dont have or have very small amounts of chlorophyll so they can’t photosynthesise. I keep my Thai con under a grow light (bulb rather than a bar) that shines down from a floor lamp propped up on a stand and it’s super happy.

Yea def a Thai constellation I got the same one from Walmart I would recommend repotting the plant into different soil and not in the self watering pot it comes in to avoid root rot and something chunky with good drainage here’s the one I got I did add another smaller one in the pot but the larger one is it
