Hi!! This is my new baby Betsy and she clearly needs some support. I’m looking for advise on where I should put her support(s). It looks like she may be like 4-6 separate plants potted together with their backs all going in different directions? I could be wrong but I’ve added multiple photos. Is there a best spot I should ad the pole? Should I ad multiple? Or should I repot and separate them? Thanks guys!
There is alot of avenues but I would repot the monstera in a pot two inches bigger and see if you can find something to support it like poles, branches, etc. anything you can tie/wrap the monstera around. There are some great videos on youtube
좋아요 1개Thanks Adian! I’ll check them out. She’s currently in a 12in pot so I’ll grab a 14in pot or bigger then. Do you recommend trying to repot in a way such that all backs are facing in towards each other?
0개 좋아요 I wouldn’t try to separate them. Many plants like to be root bound to an extent. I would just take the plant out of the pot, fill the new pot with soil and stick the whole root ball into the new pot.
좋아요 1개So easyyy, okay great! And since the back ‘spines’ are facing all different directions how/where do you think is best for be to stake my moss pole(s)? No pressure if you don’t know but I haven’t ever staked one that seems so all over before.
