Can someone tell me why my monstera’s stem is browning? This is the only stem like this and this plant is growing just fine. Is the leaf just getting old, or should I be worried? I recently repotted and the roots looked perfectly healthy. Thanks!

    That’s definitely rotting. You’ll lose that leaf, but the rest doesn’t look bad. Since it looks to be above the soil and the lower leaves/main stem aren’t doing that, maybe you got water down in there during watering and it just sat and rotted? That’s my guess, maybe someone else has a better idea. If it was due to overwatering and root issues the lower leaves would be going yellow and brown. Weird that this is kinda in the middle.

      It may have been because of recklessness while rinsing the roots. Thank you!

      Yep! Honestly you can probably just pull it off. It should just pop right off easily. I’d just make sure you get all the brown bits off
