My monsteras are struggling and at this point I’m not sure why. I removed two of the bottom leaves today since they were fully brown and crispy, and there’s a third yellow leaf that’s probably going to die as well. There’s also a new leaf that seems to have rotted before uncurling; super concerning. I’m thinking it could be shock due to repotting too frequently (once a month ago because the soil was too dense, and last week there was some root rot due to the drainage holes being blocked at the bottom of the pot so water was pooling and I didn’t want rot to set in again). The leaves were a bit wilted today but I think it was just thirsty because I watered about an hour ago and they’re perking up a bit and feeling less soft. Other than that, the soil is well draining, it gets good light from a south facing window (4 ft from window), humidity ranges from mid 30s to mid 40s percent. Any ideas on what could be the cause of the leaf death? Is it just bouncing back from the root rot / repotting?
