Does anyone know what kind of pest this is? My Monstera Esqueleto has 2 leaves with this stuff but all the other leaves are fine so I chopped the 2 bad ones off to hopefully avoid spreading. However it may have already spread without being able to tell so if anyone knows how I can help it from getting worse please advise! Thank you!

If you don’t want to change out soil you can also use systemic granules. They’re a once every 8 week application. It was the last step I took with all my plants after dealing with major pests this summer

Definitley thrips, my alocasia quilted dreams and monstera Peru have the same problem. Good luck😩
