Help!!! I have a leaf on my Thai Constellation that’s turning yellow :( I haven’t changed anything with its watering/misting lately and the temp in the greenhouse is pretty consistent. I haven’t fertilized in a couple months. Does anyone have any idea what the cause may be? Just an old leaf that it’s booting off perhaps?!

i would add fertilizer. monstera appreciate low dose fertilizer with every watering. i’d also suggest you stop misting this plant and be sure that the soil is completely dry before you water again, monstera are prone to rot and fungal infections and misting can increase their chances of both

Do you think with that leaf turning yellow that I should worry about a fungal infection? I had to cut it off today. I just watered a few days ago and it is usually pretty dry before I water again. Should I just wait until it’s dry to fertilize and see how that goes? The roots don’t show any signs of rot from what I can see. Unless you think I should spray a fungicide since it’ll probably be a week or two until I can water again. Thank you for the input!

i don’t think it’s currently affected by any fungus, just recommending some preventative measures. that leaf is likely dying due to the lack of nutrients and/or slight overwatering. i agree with what breanna said about not worrying too much also! since you can see the roots you should be just fine. the biggest kller of variegated monsteras is root rot
