I am attempting to propagate my monstera. The stem I chose to cut off had a really long aerial root I had to clip to get it to fit in my container. Will it be ok?

    It will be fine.

    Yes it will be fine, what will happen is the brown coating on the root will slowly start to come off and it will become white and then secondary roots should start to come out of the root you cut. Also more roots will grow from the stem too
