I desperately need help guys! I bought two Aurea clippings from a reputable seller in Thailand. Upon receiving them I noticed one had some rust spots. I started treating it with copper fungicide 2 weeks ago. It hasn’t done anything. It’s getting worse under the leaf. I’m aware with copper fungus you are to remove any infected leaves or stems but my question is how do I do so when it’s a single clipping ? I have both clippings quarantine! I’d appreciate any feedback at all. Thank you!

    I would try cutting of the infected areas if it's possible

      Only the portions of the leaf that have the rust vs cutting the entire leaf ?

      I've honestly never dealt with copper fungus but I've chopped portions of leaves off that were burnt or crispy for whatever reason because I find it unsightly and they never die. I've dealt with fungal issues in vegetable gardening and it always suggests to remove the infected foliage if possible and keep what you can

    What do you know about wet stick propagation?

      I would start some research. Imo, there’s a lot of hope for a plant if you have nodes or roots. It would give you a chance to start over without the rust, hopefully.

      I mean copper fungus, not rust

      Did a lot of research today. I’m going to attempt two more weeks of the copper fungicide. If no improvement I’m going to go this route. Thank you.
