I went down a rabbit hole today (too long to explain ๐) and found out Monstera is apparently pronounced two different ways. ๐ณ The way I say it and have only heard it said by friends is: mon-STER-a (like mon-stare-uh) The other way is: MON-ster-a (like monster ahhhhhh! ๐) How do yโall say it?
The first way for me (with a UK midlands accent, if that helps).

2๊ฐ ์ข์์I had such a hard time pronouncing it because I was over thinking it because I was trying to say it the first way. Then I looked at it and I was like wait itโs literally monster-a but now I saw it the first wayโฆ. Because if I saw it the second way I hold the ahhh too long
