I wasn't sure where to post this but.. I'm SO happy to be getting back into plants, since my divorce 5 years ago... I lost my entire collection in the divorce/move and it was so depressing... but here's my current collection!

This is my favorite area in the house! My get away room. It’s where I have my coffee, do my artwork, play on my computer, shoot a little pool…and enjoy my babies (the greens ones, the furry ones, and the wet ones! 🤣) I am a caregiver for both my mom and my mother in law. So life is busy and intense. This area is my refuge where I let my batteries recharge.

Did some reorganizing- pulled some plants to my brightest spot like my ribbon fern and pothos that haven't been growing in a different window.

Downsizing to an apartment was difficult, but once I started transferring my plants over…my 💚…still hard to say it’s “home”, but looking forward to the future

Has anyone made an ikea grow cabinet? I have a cabinet that currently just has shoes in it but I’d like to transform it into an area to grow tropical plants better. I’d like to know what I’d need such as grow lights fans etc :)

Bought a couple of new stands and created better spaces for my plants. Even my unruly split leaf looks happy! Had to add grow lights as even the area in front of the doors doesn’t get a lot of sunlight. Now I have room for more plants! 🪴

Thought I’d share my current setup for my south sun lovers. I was looking for something to give my jade, Elena, some more space, and decided to get shelves rather than try extending the original windowsill (and honestly, I love the excuse to get more plants now that I have more space 👀) It’s called the Sumerflos 3-Tier Acrylic Window Plant Shelves on Amazon. It’s currently $30 but I got it on sale for $26. You do have to assemble it yourself, and some drilling is required (it was pretty easy into plaster, but you’ll have to get separate parts if you’re drilling into wood or metal), but otherwise it was pretty simple to put together. (Note: I just added the peperomia in the middle shelf so it wasn’t empty. They stay firmly in my north windowsills)
