My French Marigold finally bloomed!!!
This adorable little variegated Bear’s Paw Cactus arrived in the mail from Etsy yesterday 🥰 I’m obsessed with the little pink tips to her paws. Still working on picking a name for it, but I’m so excited to watch it grow. Feel free to turn this into a thread if anyone else would like to share their little bear’s paw cacti 🌵 The seller even added a perfect little Panda Plant (Kalanchoe tomentosa) to my box as a free gift. It was such a wonderful little surprise. I’ll attach a photo of that one in the comments. She lost a couple of leaves from the trip, but I was expecting much worse given the ride from CA to PA. Just needed some fresh soil and a dry paintbrush to get that jostled soil off her leaves. I’d love to hear anyone’s suggestions for what I should name her 😊
This is Rosie my dragon tree. The first photo is when I got her in 2021. The second photo was taken last week! I nearly drowned her by over watering when she first arrived but by trial and error I discovered she likes to dry out between waterings and she likes misting every few days. I’m not sure how big she will get but hopefully we can continue to be best friends for a long time to come!
My living room and bathroom, the only two decent places for plants to get some sun 🪴
$12 Ogre Ears from Walmart. It's in an 8" pot. I'm in love 💞.
I'm so happy with how my pileas are growing. Both of these were cuttings from the mother plant but the right one is growing the biggest leaves I've ever seen on a pilea plant 😍 misting regularly and watering them thoroughly made a huge difference.
My orchids kept in glass have started blooming this year
After having so many issues with my rubber plant, I finally have success!! A new leaf is emerging and im so happy 🥹
My Desert Rose is in bloom😃
Been a plant parent for about four months now most of the plants I bought were on clearance and dying now thriving. Any tips?
Wanted to show this unique little peperomia I picked up at The Rhodes Garden. This is a Peperomia Maculosa. I’ve been hunting for one for a while now and stumbled upon one for $14. Never seen one for less than $30-40 dollars for one this size. I’d really love to get the Peperomia Sarcophylla someday, but I’m very happy to find something akin to a non-toxic alternative to the lovely philodendrons I see at my nurseries and on my feed here all the time 😊 Definitely recommend checking one of these out sometime if you ever spot one in your neck of the woods. (For anyone wondering about all the different names in the tag for my Maculosa, I haven’t picked a name for it yet. I’m leaning towards Bennie at the moment, but I’d love to hear anyone’s suggestions if you have any 😊)
Another cool progress (: April 21st to Today
