Hi guys :)!! I want to get a plant for my boyfriend. He’s never had a plant before and has never had pets, so I want something that would be pretty hardy in case he forgets to water it lol. What would you all suggest?

I bought this dracaena when there was a -40 wind chill and the wind/cold absolutely destroyed the leaves, and the self watering pot did not help. I had to part ways with the leaves but it looks so much better now. :)

Forgot to post about this but I got this plant from the planta market here in the app!! I signed up for the beta program and I think that’s how I got access to it. The plant came in amazing condition and it’s so beautiful🤩

Anyone know what variety of Philodendron this is? Tag just said “philodendron red”..thinking maybe an imperial red? Stems are red and bottom of leaves have a burgundy tint

Can anyone give me some tips on what I should do with this Alocasia? Should I trim off the mature leaves? Repot it? It faces an NW window and I only water it once the soil is 50% dry. I fear this may by blight related but not too sure ..
